I’ve been coming to Okoboji for years and always rolled my eyes at how long the line was for these donuts. Drove by today and there was no line… and as much as I hate to admit… I was very wrong about this place. It is 100% worth the hype. A very soft donut with the perfect amount of frosting to topping ratio. I had a vanilla sprinkled and a maple bacon… and I now cannot stop thinking about them. Definitely will be back!

This was a really cool place. The people working there were very friendly and helpful. They let us sample the donut holes since it was our first time. They had a wide variety of donut fillings and toppings to choose from and everything tasted very good. We will definitely return in the future to try out other stuff on the menu.

We were told Spudnuts are the best donuts in Okoboji. They were frying up their homemade donuts in front of us. Then you pick your frosting and toppings and they make them custom to order. They also have cream and jelly filled options already created to choose from. We got the Cinnamon twist, raspberry filled Bismark, strawberry cream filled, maple pecan, maple bacon, chocolate frosted and donut holes. Everything was delicious and worth the long line that started outside the building to get them.
