Excellent fish taco. and My wife is still raving about the roasted brussle sprout apps. So nice to sit with a cocktail and watch the boats go by. It's our first time in Okoboji, so the server gave us some great local advice on what to go see and do.

Cute spot to have a few drinks and a small bite right on the water between West and East Lakes. I came down here on a Sunday night at 9pm and sat outside along the bar stools outside overlooking the docks and lit up boats. There was a band playing. We came down to Zeke's rather than sitting upstairs enclosed at The Store, which is part of the same place, but there's a smaller menu here and you can sit wherever you want. There's a bartender and waitresses so you choose how fast you want to get a drink. There are about 6 stools on the bar "ledge" if that's the right terminology, plus go down a few more stairs and there's l 12 tables with 3-4 chairs each, all patio furniture without pads, might I add. I didn't get any food so can't speak for the menu. I got a margarita, which is listed on their drinks menu ($10). Pretty good Marg! A little buggy, but that's everywhere around the lake. A few tiki torches would help. Cheers for being on the water and having a cocktail outside.

Service is fast and friendly! Beer is cold and can be purchased for the temperature of the lake!! Great entertainment. Could have better restroom facilities as they are rather small. Kids can come with as there are yard games available for them.

This is an out of the way place. Not a huge spot and don't look to be entertained when you are there. Great place for a date or taking a small group of friends

Great place on the channel between the two lakes. They charge for beer the temperature of the water.$.80 beer ..not bad

When Zeke's first opened we thought it was a fun place with great burgers and appetizers. The last year it has gone downhill; the burgers are often cold and raw. My husband was very ill after eating the pulled pork. Extremely poor service. We waited 15 minutes before asking if we had a waitress, took forever to get 6 cans of beer, had to ask for menus, look for our waitress again to order, food came and we didn't have napkins or silverware in our "table bucket". We asked twice for napkins before I went to the bar to find some myself. The location is great and the music is fun, but that doesn't make up for the bad service and food.

Zeke's is great place by the lake to have some cheap beer or try some awesome cocktails! They have a nice little snack menu, which of course you should have the cheese balls, they are to die for! Also there is usually really good live music. They provide a jungle gym and basketball court for the kids to go and hang out and burn off some energy while the adults can have some beverages and still able to watch the kids.

My parents (who rarely eat out) wanted to take us some place fun for dinner. They chose Zekes and I am sad they did. We walked down from The Okoboji store (we should have stayed top side to eat and drink). There was a sign that said wait for hostess to seat you. No one said hello and we stood I front of the bar waiting politely to ask someone where the hostess was. Completely ignored. Finally I interrupted the bartender/cook? to ask about the hostess. He said they don't really have one so seat yourself. We sat down and the waitress came over to take our order. My mom and I ordered margaritas my husband had the Okoboji water and my dad had a pop. The margaritas tasted like Sprite and my husband's drink tasted exactly the same as our margaritas. We ordered two burgers, a sausage sandwich, and the lobster crab sandwich. We sat and had our drinks. About an hour and a half later there was no waitress and no food. I walked to see what was up and got to the shack where the cooking was to be going on. The waitress we had not seen was just grabbing our food. She brought it over to us. We were so hungry. My mom and husband had a burger. A red in the center COLD burger. $10. Mind you this was not with fries but a bag of mini chips. This was so over priced. The waitress never came back to see why my mom wasn't eating her burger. She didn't care. She came back to drop off the bill and never asked how things were. She Apparently had never been trained as a server and never asked why my mom had not eaten her burger. My mom didn't want to complain and asked me not to say anything. With an uneaten $82 meal. I had to. She simply said she was sorry. That's it a sorry. Well that goes a long way. My mom was not going to leave a tip at all because service was so bad. I convinced her to drop an extra dollar. This "server" had the gall to come back and say we put an extra dollar in there. I told her that was for her. Tips are earned my friend you are not entitled to receive one because you brought me a drink and food over the course of two plus hours. I would be embarrassed to be the owner of this establishment. I would steer clear of this train wreck. You lost local support but maybe you don't care. Sorry but this was a horrible experience.
