Frannies is true down home country cooking! The best pies anywhere and known for her roast beef dinners. Breakfast is a must and the atmosphere is great! They serve fast, the staff is great! If it’s full on a weekend (or weekday), don’t panic - the wait time is usually short.

This little dinner is tucked in downtown Onawa. We blown away at the food and service. With dinner's you never know. Clean and very charming.

This is Amazing FOOD!!! Homestyle cooking and the place in clean big, and I really enjoyed my breakfast and The Waitress was respeful and polite. I highly recommend this Establishment to anyone. Meat lovers

Got there just before closing time at 2 pm. Ordered the special, which was a pizza burger and rice pudding. Well, it's more like a chicken fried steak sandwich. Not much mozzarella cheese, no marina sauce, and the bun was dry. Asked for mayo to help it be a bit more flavorful. Asked the waitress why they don't use ingredients that help it taste like a pizza burger, and she had no idea. I will order something else next time I'm in town . Clean, friendly place was just dissatisfied with that sandwich.

The food was delicious. Great portions for the price. It was very busy but our waitress was helpful, patient, and personable. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. Great experience and breakfast. I would love to come back here.
