Very nice place to go sit and have an afternoon coffee or an evening dessert. Sometimes the staff are a bit overwhelmed and forget items, but they have always been quick to correct it. House coffees are smooth and easy drinking.
Very nice coffee shop right on the town square. Friendly staff. Good coffee. Great atmosphere.... especially the second level seating area that overlooks the shop. We enjoyed our visit!

When in the area I always make a point of going to this place. It is very pleasant, both the food and drink, plus the staff and service is quite good; a refreshing relief from the city. The menu has surprising variety and my choice was chicken pot pie - very satisfying. Then a piece of their Andes mint pie which was also quite good.

Quite a happening rather large place. It is two story seating and it also has private conference rooms. It's offers hot/cold coffee and smoothies and baked breakfast goods and even lunch style food. Not too forget the best for last ice cream is also served here as well!!!

Our barista was great. He made sure we liked our coffees before we left. The atmosphere is very unique. Its right in the town square and only 4 min off the highway- definitely worth a stop! Desserts looked amazing but we didn't try those. T-shirts and merch were great - good quality and great design.

Smokey Row is our go to coffee shop when we’re in Iowa visiting family. As Coffee Company owners ourselves, we know good coffee. Keep up the great work.

I am from Washington State and I am spoiled by really good gourmet coffee, I ordered a iced chai with almond milk and single shot of espresso in a "for here" cup. I have experience working in a gourmet coffee house I wanted to taste their espresso.I asked what kind of chai they used, the barista answered "vanilla, spiced, caramel..." I clarified what brand? She said "pounder" which I never heard of but it disappointedly tasted like dried powder mix, like Big Train.Smoky Row, look into switching to Maya chai. It is a concentrate, it both looks and tastes delicious and is efficient to prepare. The espresso was served in a paper cup and it was room temperature. The initial flavor was sharp but fell flat after the espresso hit the rest of my mouth. Maybe have a mid-day chore to dial in your grinder?I would of loved to have seen the layers of the crema on the espresso in a glass/for-here cup.If you have a kitchen with a dishwasher may I recommend perhaps opting to serve drinks in reusable cups and glasses? It would be a good economical move as well as environmental. Also people like me who enjoy a specialty drink can sit down and enjoy the artistry of a well crafted cafe.I understand that some coffee shops are more "fast coffee" which work to push orders out quickly and opt specialize large and sugary drinks. Your establishment gave me a different impression, I assumed it was a slow, gourmet coffee shop and diner. (Tables, food menu, next door book shop and ambient music)Whatever your goal is and whatever is working for you go for it and do it really well. Good luck Smoky Row.Kid-friendliness: The temp of my daughters hot chocolate was just right.

Homemade bakery items like muffins and cakes. Delicious unique coffees, teas, smoothies and energy drinks. The Java freezes are a must have. Caramel is the best. The hot chocolate is also super good. Cute clothing and mugs as well.Kid-friendliness: Hot chocolate and smoothies for kids
