Amazing experience whether dining in or ordering to go!!!
Arrived at the P.O. Box and were seated right away. We got our drinks and appetizer in reasonable time. Ordered our food after being there for about 10 minutes. After being there for 45 minutes, we still had no food and our drinks had been empty for 30 minutes. The table next to us was a table of 4, had walked in 10 minutes after us, and received their food of 6 baskets after only 20 minutes of being there. We only ordered burgers, nothing complicated. We had to physically get up from our table to flag down our waitress to ask her to refill our drinks. She had refilled drinks for the other tables besides us multiple times before ever refilling ours. We felt exclusively ignored by our waitress. We walked out after an hour of never receiving our food. Will never be back and now will never be trying American table either.
We went our first time and am from Pella. Drea and Miley were fantastic!!! We sat by the bar and the food was good as well!!! We will be back!
It was our 1st time here. Ate at the P.O. Box. (We don't live in town, so we weren't there when American Table was open, but we look forward to trying it!)
We are huge cheese curd fans (we travel a lot & have tried them in many different states), but sadly, we were very disappointed in them! They were oily & soggy, like the fryer wasn't at the right temp. If we try them again, I would definitely get the Chipotle ranch instead of regular ranch. We did mention it to the manager, who took the oily bowl to show the staff, so we appreciated her taking the feedback & and hopefully, it won't happen again.
Our main dishes were delicious. The fries were crispy & well seasoned. The server was fantastic, cheerful & on top of things. Only wish we had caught her name!

I went here for my birthday, the food was not seasoned. I got their spicy chicken sandwich which was not spicy at all. Then I got this drink which was over flowing and the cup was very sticky, hard to drink. Also it was pricey for shitty food. Very disappointed.

Can't say enough good things about this place. Food is great, service was great, the atmosphere is exactly what it should be. I could only wish they had been in the area sooner!

We stopped for a light lunch and to visit. This place was phenomenal! The bar is in the basement where the brick walls have been restored absolutely beautifully. The background music was at the right setting so you could have a conversation and hear everyone who was talking in that conversation. The service was great, very attentive but not hovering. The cheese curds are amazing! The boneless wings were sauced but not drenched, just the right amount. And the ranch dressing is spot on for dipping! It's not a cheap vinegary flavor. While asking about the fabulous blue paint, we were offered a tour by the owners. You thought you came to drink & eat but the history and the time put into the restoration is as good as the food! Above the bar is dining and private party areas! Sooo beautiful! Will definitely have to make the 2 hour trip back!
