The Bread Board Reviews
Always delicious soups and bread. Best bread in town. Great atmosphere. Great coffee. Love coming to The Bread Board! Highly recommend!
I am in Pella for my mother's cancer surgery and snuck away for an hour to grab some non-hospital food (and to gather my thoughts). I found myself at the Bread Board... I didn't realize they served not only food, but LOVE. This food tastes like my long gone grandmother's "love"- fresh ingredients, made with care. My tummy AND my heart were filled over the past two days with some of the most amazing soups and breads I've ever had in my life and I've traveled the world. THANK YOU...read full review
Highly recommend. We enjoyed the peaceful vibe and the most amazing chicken salad on a made from scratch croissant! Our
new favorite lunch stop in Pella.

The Bread Board is a popular restaurant, especially during Tulip Time. It offers a variety of menu items, with the cheeseburger chowder soup and bread pudding being notable standouts. The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere with pleasant service and a lovely setting. The building features cool designs and style, making it kid-friendly and accessible with open spots at some tables for wheelchair users and zero entry. Many customers praise the bread pudding as divine and appreciate the sourdough loaves and chicken salad, which are well crafted and tasty. The chef's attention to quality ingredients creates food that feels like “love,” reminiscent of homemade meals by a grandmother. Visitors often find this place to be a peaceful refuge, offering not only delicious food but also a warm, caring environment. Frozen quarts of soup, such as the chicken and wild rice, are available to go, making it a regular stop for those passing through town.
