I love the Prairie Artistian Ales bomb! Janine was awesome bartender. We were travel through and she gave us info on town of Pella and things to visit. Five stars.

Loved the bloody mary and beers. I definitely miss the Peanut pub in Newton.

We visit every year and it is wonderful every time! The best Bloody Mary around, and being able to purchase the cans to take home is even better! The staff is always friendly and love to offer suggestions.

Fantastic drafts and cans while munching on peanuts. Great bloody Mary. Felt a little guilty throwing shells on the floor but as the locals do
The pub is one of my favorite places in Pella. Marty allowed my entire wedding party to reserve a portion of the bar, and then moved us inside so it would be cooler—awesome customer service and a great drink selection. Not only did I love it on my wedding day but I love a good mystery beer on a random weeknight.

This establishment is delightful, offering a wide selection of local breweries on tap. Complimentary peanuts are provided, and there is no need to be concerned about shells on the floor! 🥜

Love The Cellar! Have not been there since our son left Central. Best Bloody Mary, and they have a great variety of beers on tap. They can mix a drink with the best of them, too. Great stop, and highly recommend!

No food. Unless you count peanuts in a bucket… which was a mess all over the floor. Service was very bad. Very dismissive. Beer selection was good. Also needs a signs regarding rules or be less rude about providing information

We visited this pub during the Pella Tulip Festival. The workers were great! The bloody mary was amazing, and of course we had to try the Tulip beer 🍺 it was also really good.

Get your “Tulip” beer here (see photo)—made from a red variety. It does not taste floral. The flavor reminded me of gold ale. Indoor & outdoor seating. It was quieter outside. Large beer selection, including cider. They also serve soda. Quick service, but no food besides peanuts. Their TVs were on ESPN/2. When asked if we could watch our home baseball team, we were out of luck because they have limited channels. They would’ve accommodated otherwise. Plenty of items on the walls and ceilings to get your attention. Parts are from the 1980s, like a boombox and working arcade games: Burgertime, Galaga, & Ms. Pacman. The pay phone was inactive but a good photo opp. Nice mural out back (see photo)
