At the Windmill Cafe, I ordered the Hot Roast Beef sandwich. It was a delicious blast from the past. I used to have a similar dish at my aunt and uncle's cafe a half century ago. My meal was so good that I started eating before I thought to take a photo.

Very friendly staff and rapid service. I don't think it even took 10 minutes to receive our food and it was absolutely delicious.

I personally would have liked the buffet food to have been hotter(temperature). Rest of group were good with the food.

So me and my wife have been going to breakfast for their buffet every Sunday for about a month. Last few times it has given us diarrhea within an hour or two. We weren’t going to go again but decided to try it again just to see and here I sit on the toilet. Been on the toilet 3 times since I left there in 2hrs. We won’t be returning to pay $32.90 for diarrhea

Went there after staying overnight in Pella to go to the opera house.. We had our usual simple breakfast of eggs and ham and wheat toast. I was impressed by the nice piece of ham that we received. Our waitress was very nice as well.

Hot beef sandwich every time. My other half orders different items each visit, and the food is always good. Fresh, locally made pies! Strawberry Rhubarb and Buttermilk Pecan pictured! Always busy (a good sign), and with excellent service, the crowd moves very timely!

Good dinner with a nice selection of breakfast and lunch items. Located on the main square it does get busy. Service was good and our food was served quickly. The hamburger was good and my family said their meals are also good.

I ordered the combo platter with sausage links and scrambled eggs. My husband ordered the Pella Burger. The food was amazing and well priced. The service was friendly and courteous. The food did not take long to be served. Highly recommend!

I was there 2 weeks before the annual Tulip Festival. It was packed everywhere. Had to wait in line to get in but not for long. I had biscuits and gravy which was homemade not canned. Delicious. The waitress was great. Cheerful bubbly so polite and right there as needed.
