Red roof is my go-to place to eat with a family friendly atmosphere! We always get so much food for an unbelievable price and always comes out fast. Breakfast and dinner are delicious! Waiter was so friendly and even gave us a bowl of soup on the house to try because it was that good! Highly recommended!!

Food was delicious and my server was awesome! Just a roadside diner , you should stop and eat when you’re in the area. Had the open face roast beef sandwich.

Saw the sign on the hwy and it got 4.5, must be decent... Our first meal in Iowa, hope this isn't the norm. Staff is friendly, dining room looked clean. My wife and I both got the open face tenderloin. She got the salad...a hand full of iceberg lettuce and some very vinegar tasting ranch. Two bites and she said not worth it. I got the dumpling soup which was decent. The tenderloin plate was a real let down. It's a highly processed slab smothered in gravvy. The potatoes looked good but did not taste natural. Water to drink, basically $26 before tip. If we lived in the area, wouldn't go back.

Extra crispy browns must be code for barely browned. I had my coffee cup at the edge of our booth for nearly 15 minutes, with no refill offered. My daughter's hash browns came out 10 minutes after her biscuits and gravy arrived, she was 3/4 of the way done with her biscuits. Plenty of other places to go for crappy service. Disappointed, it will be the last time I give my money to this establishment.
