It was my first time there. I ordered to go. Server was extremely rude.she acted annoyed when I asked for a menu, eventhough I was the only customer there. My tamales was mushy and not very good.i threw away the second one. Not going back and would not recommend.

This place is very authetic. The food is very delicious and fresh. It doesn't make you bloat afterwards. It is a plus that you know speak Spanish when you order because the girl who took our order only spoke Spanish. We knew a little, but due to our lack of Spanish we ended up ordering more food that we wanted. The place was clean and they have a restroom.

El Salvadorian restaurant, bakery, and grocery. Pupusas, fried yucca, and chicharron! Fast and delicious! Fresh bakery and grocery items you can't find other places.

Everything is authentic and made to order. Everyone's order didn't come out at once because each item was made fresh, so it came out piping hot and delicious! Things you might not be familiar with like fried yucca and pork chunks instead of french fries! Many different fruit beverages instead of familiar sodas and mildly- sweet pastries available in the Bakery. Definitely a fun place to check out of you want to try something different!

Parking: Street angle parking, but we didn't have any trouble finding a spot close on a Saturday at noon.

This is worth the trip from Des Moines. Hands down the best hispanic food in Iowa. Don't forget to add an order (or 8) of the pupusas when you go!

I absolutely loved this place - very friendly and welcoming. We tried a pupusa, tamale and baked good. All that came up to $6! So I had to leave a generous tip. Please check this place out, they deserve all the love.Highly recommend!
