Was hoping this was the same as the Metro Buffet in Cedar Rapids...close, but not the same. Although they didn't have sushi, they had plenty of really good food. The owner came around a couple of times to chat and tell us about the business. It is a really affordable and delicious option. We'll visit again when we're back that way.

Well, I thought I would try this place since I'm a truck driver and don't get to eat Chinese food much. There was more breading on the chicken, then chicken. The only beef dish was tough and inedible. Everything lacked flavor. The place was hot and humid. Needless to say, I won't be back.

I have been a customer here for at least 12 years and I was deeply disappointed with my last couple visits. Nobody refilled our drinks. There were no clean plates on the buffet when we got there. Once we did get plates, the food was awful. The Lo mein was mushy, overcooked spaghetti. The "fried rice" was undercooked and the green beans were barely warm and raw. The Crab Rangoon was nearly empty and so light colored the wraps still tasted like cornstarch. Almost every dish I tried was cold. I expected much more considering the drastic increase in price to $15/ person at lunch time. We miss Gracie!

I REALLLLLYYYY Hate That I Have To Do This Because I’ve Been Going To Metro Ever Since I Was A Little Girl Have ALWAYS Loved The Food..Since The New Owner Took Over It Really Isn’t The Same …Food Is Touch And Go, Some Days It’s Okay Other Days My Stomach Doesn’t Handle It Well. Even With That Being Said I Find Myself Going Back Because…Well….Again I Have Went There Since A Child But Thissssssss Is Beyond A Dissapointment. It Is Unsafe…And Could Definitely Get People Sick… As Far As The Owner As A Person He Is A Good Man..Really Nice Always Welcoming But This Is Too Much Even For Me And I’m Really Not A Picky Eater

It breaks my heart to do this to a restaurant that has been my favorite place for over 10 years. I’ve heard that there are new owners, so maybe that’s why the quality of food is so drastically different. I live 35 minutes away, but I make it a point to pick up food when I visit family.I’m used to getting food that’s been sitting awhile. In the past even the old stuff was satisfying to me. The peanut chicken is dry as **** now. Where’s that beautiful sauce the chicken used to soak in? My favorite thing is garbage now. I went to get the pepper chicken and it was very different. Instead of the smaller pieces that were so good, it was big chunks of pepper chicken. When I tasted it I immediately spit it out. If I ever go back, I won’t even touch the pepper chicken again. The rest of the food was disappointing as well, and it kills me.Whoever is making this food needs to call up the old owners and ask for pointers because the food sucks now.Little bit weird to see children running the show.
When we went there for lunch food was hot it was very good and service was quick no complaints the egg drop soup is some of the best that I've ever eaten in the US this is a wonderful restaurant for a little city of Perry Iowa keep up the good work you're doing

Horrible food with new owners. Terrible local comments and reviews from dead roaches smashed into carpet, too Horrible food where family members became sick. They use their own children (small children) as servers because he can't get anyone too stay employed with him. One customer stated he got told too pay 5.00 over for wasting food because his little girl left food on her plate. Prices are 15.00+ each for every member.
