Great stop, great hours. So appreciate that they invested in community over the years and open for locals and those passing thru

Very slow service. I even placed my order ahead of time over the phone. Doesnt accept card you have to use their atm. That has a fee. Wasted 30 minutes there. Go to the corner diner down the street.

Great down-home cafe. Nothing fancy, but clean and very good food. I had the pork tenderloin sandwich, my wife had the grilled chicken breast, and my grandson the Philly cheesesteak. All were very good and the portions were very generous. Would definitely stop there again if we get back to Pisgah again.

It had been a while, due to the pandemic interruption, that I had lunched at the Old Home Cafe...so I was a bit concerned that the place might not have survived...not to worry...I called em on to see what their lunch schedule was on Sunday and they said to come on over...they'll be serving lunch from 11am to 2 pm. So we arrive at 12 noon, and there are probably 6 people already seated. We were glad we arrived at 12 noon, because shortly after we sat down, more folks kept a'comin in and by the time we left at 1pm...they place was pretty much filled up. That was really nice to to see such good support from both the locals and the out-of-towners. Anyways, the food was quite good...typical diner/cafe menu...we had a burger and the breaded tenderloin sandwich, along with their homemade potato salad. Very good grub...highly recommend !!! Plus there is a very large sports bar on the back end of the building...big screen tv's, the whole tamale, man....enjoy !!!
