Not sure why it took us nearly a year to finally try this place, but I’m kicking myself for not coming sooner. The happy hour is solid, with great deals and an even better atmosphere. We loved the outdoor seating—plenty of space and a relaxed vibe. Inside, it’s cozy, stylish, and just the right amount of lively. The food? Absolutely delicious. And the drinks were spot on. Already looking forward to coming back!

I met a friend for drinks and appetizers tonight and tried the new bang bang shrimp. The shrimp were large and the sauce amazing. I can’t wait to have them again. Our server/bartender was funny and really loved what he does. We will definitely be back soon!

Billed as fine dining. Concrete floor, no tablecloths, primitive cutlery, lots of TV's, no salt and pepper. Took our own wine, shocked at the $35 corkage fee. Most in town charge $10. More shocked that the reserve wine list was not really reserve and overpriced by 100% Staff was attentive. Caesar salad was good. Pasta was good, but the meat got lost and was minimal in my bowl. Beef bourgeon was fabulous. Well seasoned and nice portion size. Might return someday, but with different expectations. Listen to your wine distributor. You will sell more when it is priced correctly.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Arcadia in Polk City, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere, highlighted by the charming brick finish walls that add a touch of rustic elegance. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel right at home while still being special enough for an occasion.

The service was truly commendable—friendly and prompt without being intrusive. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations, ensuring our dining experience was seamless.

Now, let’s talk about the drinks! I tried both the Smokeshow Old Fashioned and the Autumn Old Fashioned, and I can confidently say that each was crafted to perfection. The balance of flavors in both cocktails was impressive, showcasing the skill of the mixologists behind the bar.

For appetizers, we opted for the wings and the meatballs, and wow, they did not disappoint! The wings were crispy and flavorful, with a variety of sauces to choose from, while the meatballs were tender and packed with flavor. Each bite left us wanting more.

Overall, Arcadia offers a delightful dining experience with fantastic food, excellent drinks, and a cozy atmosphere. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu. Highly recommend for anyone in the Polk City area looking for a great night out!

I had the smash burger and it was very good. Service was great and I will be back to try more menu items.

I have visited Arcadia 3 times. 10/10/24, 11/8/24, and 11/10/24. Twice for meals and once for drinks at the bar. The bar experience was phenomenal and saved the service rating. The 2 meal experiences were definitely hampered by slow waiter service. We had the same server, so I was able to observe him more closely this last visit. I can't say that he was intentionally slow, but drinks were empty multiple times and slow with check and payment(same as month earlier experience). The restaurant was definitely not busy on our last visit and appeared to have 3 waitstaff and a hostess. Other tables had more prompt service with the other waitstaff. I would love to share the name, but he did not introduce either time. The decor and feel of the restaurant is top notch, with a patio for nice weather. Food is good, fresh ingredients and interesting menu. We will likely return, but we may ask for a different server. It's hard to enjoy food with no beverages. The seating at the bar had very attentive staff on a significantly busier night, and you can order food.

Eric O. provided exceptional tableside service. The dry aged ribeye surf and turf were excellent, the fondant potato and mashed potato both complimented the main entree. Flavorful caesar salad. The mocktail virgin Hibiscus Paloma and lime water were refreshing. This establishment is an excellent value and contribution to the local Iowa farm to table experience. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family, and look forward to a return trip. Facilities were stylish and clean. Definitely exciting to see craft cocktail and local craft brewing options shaken, stirred, mixed and poured.

10/10 where do I even start…this is a must try if you are in Polk City Area. To start you must have the egg rolls. These are handcrafted works of art. The salad/burger selection is outstanding, handcrafted by an amazing chef. The entrees by far are my favorite, especially the Beef Bourguignon. Don’t forget the dessert, perfectly paired with a nice wine or whiskey. Can’t wait to be back! Thank you Mikel and the whole Arcadia family!
