Restaurant itself is cute, definitely fits in Polk City. Chips, salsa, & queso were delicious! Overall experience...disappointing. Staff was unimpressed upon our arrival, slumped over the counter with very uninviting faces, even when I smiled at them. Then the food came out cold. I ordered a dinner combination with a burrito & chili relleno, the relleno covering was at least an inch thick & when I cut into it it was solid cheese, as in cold & hard. When I brought it to the waitress attention she made a comment "well I didn't cook it". She took the plate then later brought it back exactly how I gave it to her, food was now room temp. Needless to say we won't be going back. Bummer because we had high hopes for this place.

The food is fine. I ate it all but nothing remarkable.The atmosphere is fine. It's clean and new but doesn't have much flair or character.The service is fine. The employees are friendly but don't come around often.Overall I am not that happy I spent $20 on my single meal, but I could have spent it somewhere worse. If I am invited back I will certainly go, but it's not going to become a regular restaurant for me.

We had a party of 10 on a Sunday evening. Every aspect was great! Everybody had something different, and they all raved about their dish. Large servings. Fabulous $5.00 margaritas! One person who doesn't care for Mexican food had the chicken wings and raved that he had been searching for wings like these since eating some in a famous restaurant 20 years ago. Great atmosphere, great wait staff. I ordered the fajita taco salad, It was good until I got to the 3in of grease at the bottom. Let your taco salad bowls drain a bit guys. Nuff said.

Stopped for dinner on a busy night (annual square lighting event). Expected a wait, but it was probably only about ten minutes. Drink and food orders were taken quickly and also arrived quickly. Very tasty tacos and margarita! Our server was attentive and friendly.
Sam was so helpful with our dietary needs. Everything is always fresh and it is easy to see it is her priority. My family would drink the queso and salsa!
