This place is a real gem. I hope they get the funds to save the building it's in or find another building to move to.

One of the most iconic and intimate musical settings in Iowa. Tucked away in the vast open fields of Iowa this little bar is a little hippies paradise. Byron has such great stories and the biggest of hearts. Go now to support him!

Live music is always fun & Byron's gets a good variety. The old building adds to the overall atmosphere. Communal sink located outside the bathrooms lets you observe the bartenders not washing their hands?

Byron and his staff are so great! A super fun time and some really valuable prizes are drawn for in between live music sets! 😎

Excellent venue for a truly intimate band experience...Seen Stutterin' Jimmy and the Goosebumps few years back and had a beautiful emotional experience. There's something about the place, down to its foundation. You can feel like every musicians triumphs and struggles all wrapped up in an essance that resonates within its walls.

AHH-MAZING! We've heard about this place for a long while now but never had been able to make the drive until this past weekend. Soooo worth the drive! The atmosphere is bursting full of good energy - everyone is friendly & welcoming - music sounded fabulous. I couldn't have asked for a better night out. The space itself is intimate & cozy but you can still find room to politely dance if the music is calling your heart to groove! There is SO MUCH memorabilia & funny decor to see all over! Just when you thought you saw everything, something else will catch your eye! They do have frozen pizzas you can purchase to help soak up your drinks from your belly which is a great little touch! Bar is stocked with basics, there was a couple wine choices, seltzers (white claw), and beer was a plenty. They had a couple IPAs & your usual standard beer choices as well. You don't want to miss the "intermissions" in between the band breaks. hahah such a great time & I cannot wait to come back here!Highly recommend everyone come here at least once - but heck, you know you'll be back again because you enjoyed it so much the first time!

The best music venue in Iowa. Live music every Sunday night and hosted by Byron Stuart himself. It's an American cultural treasure that should be experienced by all who come to the state. Rock on! ❤️🎼
