The food is amazing and priced well, the staff is always friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is always peaceful. This is one of my favorite places to eat.

Kid-friendliness: The eatery is very kid friendly, I take my kids there all the time, and they enjoy the food and atmosphere as well.

Parking: There is plenty of head in parking on the street.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp through the door.

Try to support local eateries, but these guys just can't get it right. Seems there is little or no training for staff, and food is marginal at best. Had 4 orders and none were put in. Finally, put in, and 1 never showed up. Our waitress kept telling us she had only worked 3 days, yet no one to help her. Definitely would not

Stopped for dinner. It was Taco Tuesday night. That's the only item you can get from the menu on a Tuesday. Almost $8 for 1 fry bread tacos. Lacking in flavor, needed more seasoning/spice. The fry bread was limp not at all crispy and lukewarm. The drinks were good. Staff was friendly but not always attentive to the customers. Was in on car show night for drinks only and Brandi was very friendly, attentive and courteous.

Food was terrific service was amazing we had our whole baseball team and parents come and they were quick and nice. Owner is very friendly, will come back if in the area.

Called 3 different times to see how late the kitchen was open and nobody would answer the phone...guess we will take our business elsewhere

This pub looks great. However, I recommend you avoid Prairie City during your drive in the likely event its just a pit stop for you. The police department has automated speeding ticket printers that will charge you $100 for 1-14 over, don't take the risk.

This place is clean and tiddy. The atmosphere is great. Great place for a awesome tasting whiskey burger and a beer.. Short drive from Des Moines, but well worth it. Friendly staff and prompt service.. Will definitely be back. Can't wait to try the flour tacos on Tuesday's..

First time here under new ownership. Came specifically for their Sunday breakfast. Menu had been updated. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. They were short staffed and clearly overwhelmed when a large party came and left. Food took a very long time, and several orders were wrong including mine. The owner was present and was very apologetic. It was clear that they were trying to make things right when errors were made. I will be giving them another try.

Under new ownership and its worth the stop! The food is fantastic! They just opened so be mindful of that with the servers but good food and beer you can't go wrong at all! Give the new owners a try

Fun evening at the Whiskey Barrel tonight. They were busy and staff was working hard, especially with unfortunate staffing issues. A great time to give them some grace, they are trying! Great atmosphere. Love seeing it full of energy.

The owner is very vulgar and disrespectful- definitely wouldn’t want to support a place with such “leadership”

Their pizza is close your eyes good

It's adequate, that's about it. That's all I can say. Don't really have anything good to say about this place.
