1st off drove from West Des Moines Iowa to visit my daughter, this is at 5:15 on Friday. As a business owner I was also looking at potential areas to hold a dinner for our business for our NW Iowa cliental.Went to the bar to get a drink, when the person at the bar whos from that town said, you better be ready to wait as there is NO bartender, only wait staff that come back to make their drinks for their own tables, really who in the hell has a bar with no bartender on a Friday night?2nd. the food was ok, but it took no lie 1 hour and 29 minutes from when I put in my order until we received it. When my wife went to the rest room she over heard the wait staff talking about their check being bounced yet again from the owner. It is clear that the owner has no idea on how to run a business. Don't waist your time going to this location. It has a ton of potential but the owners need to decide if they want to run a dinning estableshment or a bar as they clearly can't run both.I will not be going back.

Didn't have any food so can't comment on that. Was at the event center part, the entertainment was good but I wasn't into the atmosphere there. Went to get a drink and no one was there so waited about 6 min not too long. Our first drinks were fine but when we went for our second we waited again for her to show up first, the person with me got her drink and that was good she said. However mine was gross..I didn't try it till I got back to my table or I would have took back and made her make a different one cause it wasn't what I ordered. I ordered rum and dr.pepper (I had that first time too) but instead got dr. Pepper and beer mixed...I didn't drink it and at end just threw out.Also the bathroom lady's was dingy. I won't be going back there at all again.

Stopped in for a bday party in the back room, had some pizza, it was very good! The staff were very helpful and polite. The beer was good and the atmosphere was very inviting. They had a live band out in the bar room.

Chose Grumpy’s to hold a surprise birthday party for my significant other last night and so glad I did! Kenzy, our server, was not only so helpful in coordinating the party but also did an awesome job taking care of the large group of us. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks again, Kenzy!

Have heard lots about grumpys and finally got to try it. We went on trivia night and had a great time. We had a big group and all of us were accommodated perfectly on a busy night. The margaritas were great and cheap, and the trivia was a blast. But the best part was the food. Absolutely fantastic food. We got the giant pretzel and the loaded steak fries. We will be back. Only thing I would change is for them to be open during the lunch hour but totally understand.

Got take out, after waiting 15 minutes and being passed by 4 servers someone finally help me. Once home about 10mins away everything was ice cold. Not just 10 minute car ride home cold but sitting for awhile cold. The cheese nuggets where not fully cooked and and our tater totes tasted like fish. More than likely won't be back.
