We walked in for a quick drink since we had some extra time while in town. We got in line behind the one person at the cash register. At about the same time, another family came walking in with some heading to a table, and some still at the door. The woman working the cash register snapped at them to order at the bar before sitting down. One elderly person with them had a walker. It seemed quite rude. Next, we step up to the register and ask if beer us sold. She rudely told us the beer was in the cooler at the other end of the bar. We asked about those options and she barked back at us that she didn't know. We would have to get out of line to go look. We left without ordering and will not be back.

On a roadtrip passing through Red Oak, we came in and placed a to go order to take back to our cabin. The girl at the front must be new because she didn’t seem to be very familiar with the menu and didn’t even know what soft drinks they had. We left without drinks because she said she didn’t think they had Sprite but only had Coca Cola. I ordered the chicken strips with tater tots and my husband ordered a double burger with mustard and ketchup only, along with waffle fries. When we got to our cabin, the burger didn’t have anything on it other than meat. Luckily, I had ordered extra boom boom sauce for my chicken strips, so he put the sauce on the burger. Overall, the food was good, so I gave four stars based on that.

Disappointed by the service and attitude
I took my daughters out for lunch and ordered a BLT without tomatoes, as they make me sick. Unfortunately, the sandwich came with tomatoes anyway. I understand mistakes happen, so I politely sent it back. However, when it came back again, it was clear they had just picked the tomatoes off rather than making a new one — which isn’t acceptable given my sensitivity.
When I asked for a refund just for the sandwich I couldn’t eat, I was met with technical issues and a noticeably bad attitude from both women working there. They acted like I was in the wrong for saying anything. It wasn’t just unprofessional — it was downright rude, and really disappointing for what was supposed to be a nice lunch with my kids.
