My first visit to Pizza Ranch and I loved it. The employees were exception in the service they offered, especially Michelle, and the food was excellent. I am very pleased with my Pizza Ranch meal.
Exploring the area while in town as a Ragbrai support driver. Very clean and friendly with a nice all you can eat pizza and salad selection. Would drop in there again.

Fine dining? Obviously no. However, we were riding RAGBRAI and were furiously burning calories. The pizza was satisfying, and the fried chicken hit it out of the park. Despite the busy atmosphere, the staff was super courteous. Pizza Ranch fulfills a particular need in a spectacular way.

The food was great. I had a talkative server that I have known for a long time that I had to politely ask to back off because I was there to relax and enjoy the food, not so much socilize. Everything else was fine. What you would expect from a buffet

The buffet closes at 7:30, not 8, which is annoying and stupid. Don’t list your hours as until 8 when your main thing ends at 7:30. Hy-Vee doesn’t stop selling groceries half an hour before they close.

When ever my family and I go here to eat, which is hardly ever and actually try the chicken I always get sick afterwards, but other times we go and I just eat their pizza or salad bar I'm fine. Do better with your chicken I got sick last night I was throwing up and still feel like it today.

We stopped at about 5:30 pm for supper. There was no line, so we paid right away, got our drinks, and found a place to sit. I went to the salad bar 1st and was disappointed not to see the spinach salad that is served at the Pizza Ranch we go to regularly. I got some of the regular iceberg lettuce and a few topping, then was again disappointed that the 'usual' Raspberry Vinaigrette dressing was also not one of the dressings to choose from. I then got a chicken thigh, mashed potatoes, and green beans. I don't use gravy and didn't see any butter or sour cream on the buffets. I asked someone who worked there if there was butter or sour cream available. The reply I received was, "Do you need some?" I answered, "Yes, please." She rolled her eyes at me but went to the kitchen and brought back 2 butters and sour cream. The chicken, potatoes, and green beans were great! I always end my meal with a slice of cactus bread, and they had just brought a fresh one out, but it was missing something, so I took one bite, left it on my plate, and left.
