The food at Morris Inn is absolutely mouth watering! We had excellent service as well! I definitely feel like you get your moneys worth with the amount of food and quality of food that you get! The owners are really cool and treat you like family! Very clean restaurant!
With that being said, it is definitely worth the drive to Morrison, Iowa, and grab a bite to eat here! But I must warn you, the floor is very uneven, so just be careful if you have any walking disabilities. Also, this is a CASH ONLY establishment, so make sure you have cash to pay your bill. $80 was enough for 3 drinks, 4 specialty burgers, 2 appetizers, and ranch and cheese dipping sauces plus a tip for our server ☺️. Restaurants expensive just sold the new owners the food used to be better the definitely just not what it used to be especially if the prices are still going to be high

Went tonight for the first time in a while. Disappointed to say the least. if you want to willingly serve inedible food and be okay with it then that’s beyond me. All of our food came out 45 minutes apart. Steaks looked gross, over cooked/undercooked. A poor showing of a damn steakhouse. Rubbery, burnt or not even seared, a blob of meat is not a filet mignon. The waitresses should consider talking bad about customers in a private room and not 4 feet away within ear shot. It’s sad when the kids at the table speak up about the service and food. The waitress became rude and defensive when we didn’t want our food and didn’t want to pay for something we wouldn’t give to our dogs. She said over and over she wanted to make it right which is great, but the second round of steaks was worse than the first and when it was spoken up about, that’s where the defensiveness came in. I will say the onion rings haven’t changed, those are still great. Fix your steaks, change the attitude of your staff.

Best burgers I’ve ever had. The Brunch Burger is, most of the time, made with a perfectly cooked egg in it and I will recommend it to anyone. The only downsides are that it’s only cash or check, no electronic payment and the longer wait times; but definitely stop by.

Drove for 1 hour to get there, and we'll do it again. Onion rings are excellent but don't make the mistake we did and get a half order way more than we could eat and the prices are the most reasonable I've seen
