Duck Creek Pancake House is one of those cozy, no-frills breakfast spots that feels like a warm hug in food form. The pancakes are fluffy clouds of perfection, the bacon is crisp in all the right ways, and the coffee keeps flowing like it knows exactly what you need to start the day. The atmosphere strikes the balance between laid-back and lively, and you can tell this place takes pride in turning a simple breakfast into something memorable.

And then there’s Afrim, my server—who may just be the secret ingredient that keeps customers coming back. With a smile as smooth as maple syrup and timing sharper than a steak knife, Afrim made the experience feel more personal than transactional. There’s a certain charm in the way he managed to keep things attentive yet effortless, leaving just enough mystery to wonder whether the pancakes were the highlight…or if it was him.

We are here for the 1st time. It was deliciousabd our waitress was wonderful and very attentive. Live the newly remodeled interior. And the owner is getting a new sign ordered for the outside. Great place to eat!

Outside doesn't look like much but inside newly remodeled and is clean and classic breakfast dinning. I do not recommend the ABC omelet it is dry with only a hint of avocado. BUT... the local plate was wonderful. Highly recommend for Bentendorf Iowa! staff are friendly and skilled. Kudos 👏
