Hutch's Cafe is a great local restaraunt that I have made as a new favorite and more common place to go to. Food is good, reasonable prices and the service is good as well. If anyone is passing through and not been here, I do recommend it.
At Hutch's Café anything is possible. Don't see it on the menu. They will make a special order. The eggs Benedict was the best I've had outside of Paris, France. Waiters and waitresses, sing, and dance while serving you a rack of lamb. The locals are some of the smartest people in Iowa. Many of them are fluent in French, Italian, Spanish, Latin and Greek. Nice little cafe , I recommend the breakfast, they also have great onion rings. Be careful the food comes out hot.
Parking: The lot is small but I haven't ever had a problem, and you can always park nextdoor.
