We really enjoyed the Cattleman's! A couple of things worthy to note before you visit: call ahead for reservations, if they're full, you won't be seated. The atmosphere is really trendy, and upscale. Especially for Sac City. Cute little town, just not the gem I expected to find. Now to the food; neither my husband or I ordered steak, I know, I know. But I wanted drinks and desserts so I went with chicken. LOL. The sides are ala carte, which is typical for steakhouses....
Just opened under new ownership, Sac Cattle Co has excellent steaks! They have a modest weekday menu and a heartier Fri-Sun menu. Owners, Chefs and wait staff were very personable and stopped to check on everyone.
Stopped here by chance. Excellent food, my taco salad was the best ever! Great burgers. Special was roast beef sandwich. Would definitely order all again!!! Make sure you have cash. Do not take cards but does have ATM machine close. Thanks!
