Kristie was very responsive from the start. She met up with us to get a taste test and she gave us enough for a few meals, which was extremely generous! She notified us when we could get a small discount and was just generally available when we had quick questions for her. The food was FANTASTIC!! It was so much better knowing it wasn't coming from a freezer. We ended up having less guests than expected but man, are we enjoying the leftovers. 🤤🤤

We had a chance to try this food truck today, and I don't think that I've ever been more disappointed. We went to the event for the RAGBRAI riders in Iowa Falls. After walking around and looking at all of the food Trucks, my hubby decided he wanted to try this one. We went to get in line at 12:40pm, and were informed that they weren't open yet. That they would open at 1pm. So this man patiently waited. We went back over at 1pm and it STILL wasn't open. No one said a word as another line formed. After waiting with no acknowledgement and still closed, people started to leave. We should have too because after all that, someone came to take the Philly Cheesesteak off the menu. Literally the thing we had been waiting over 30 minutes for at that point. The irony was it is advertised as "handcut philly" and we were told they couldn't sell them because "the machine wasn't cutting the meat". We tried to be a good sport, so he ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger and an order of Loaded Fries. Again, we waited.... she called his name and he got up there to be given his burger (which she added an extra patty to) and informed him that after all this time, her grease wasn't hot enough to cook his fries and it would be another 15-20 minutes. At that point, we got a refund for the fries and remained polite. When my hubby went to put toppings on his burger, toppings he had specifically mentioned when ordering, he discovered that there wasn't the standard burger toppings. He took one bite of it and knew that it had to be from the day before. There was no way it was a fresh burger. It was barely warm and hard! There was no chewing it. The only reason the cheese was melted is because it was a cheese sauce. It was obvious that this truck was NOT ready for today. We rarely leave bad reviews because we both have worked in the food industry. This was either a lack of management or preparation.... or both. We know that crap happens, but I know that a fryer would have been up to temp in the 30 minutes we waited to order. Sadly, we watched several people walk off due to lack of service and product.

We made the fantastic decision to have Off the Griddle cater our wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we could have made! Kristie and her team were super friendly and easy to work with, and we were able to work with her to create our ideal menu. We had multiple people say that not only was this the best wedding meal they’ve ever had, but the best meal in general they’ve had in a long time! As natural foodies, we went in depth reviewing every item.
The appetizers we requested were all incredible. We had bourbon bbq meatballs (highly recommend), jalapeño poppers that brought us all back to childhood cookouts, spin dip, bruschetta, and an amazing charcuterie board. We loved the assortment of cheeses, jams, meats, and fruit, and it tasted just as good as it looked.
Now onto the dinner! We requested a salad bar with about ten different topic options and four different dressings. It was everything we dreamed of, and our guests really enjoyed being able to create their own salad!
For our meal, we had honey garlic salmon, Sicilian chicken, and a beef tenderloin carving station with green beans and potatoes as sides. The green beans were one of the stars of the night. Even people that don’t like green beans were a fan, and people that liked green beans were mind blown by the flavor. The potatoes were also seasoned and cooked to perfection and went perfectly with the meat options.
The chicken was so flavorful and tender. The only complaint we got was actually a compliment - someone who likes bland food that said it had too much flavor. The salmon was cooked to perfection. We had some salmon fanatics saying it was some of the best they’ve had.
And to the star of the show - the meat carving station. The tenderloin was cooked to perfection. We had so many people say that they wish they could’ve ate their entire piece, but were so full from filling up on the other options! Having that option at our wedding was a dream come true, and have it taste incredible just put the icing on the cake.
If you have the chance to book Off the Griddle for your event, you will be satisfied! We highly recommend!

Kristie and her crew were amazing! The food was delicious and they were on top of getting everything setup and keeping it stocked. We had a taco bar at our wedding of about 125 and everything went super smooth. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

I ordered charcuterie for a Galentine’s event and Kristie far and above exceeded my wildest expectations!! It was sooooo beautiful - the prettiest charcuterie I have ever seen. Everyone went on and on about it. She even made little heart macarons and chocolate covered strawberries. It was the perfect combination of salty, sweet, fresh, and filling. It had way more variety and surprises tucked in there than I could have imagined. Every last thing tasted so, SO good. Communication was fast and easy, she delivered it right on time with all the serving things… She’s amazing. Her talent (and obviously SO much hard work) made for a very memorable event. The charcuterie was the star.
