The Talk Shop Lounge was the perfect place to bring a class to sing and visit with family for elementary music! What an incredible venue for events and helpful, flexible staff! The food was delicious too and everyone had fun!

I ordered a Rueben and onion rings for dinner this evening and it was the BEST RUEBEN I have ever had. No joke. Bread was no over toasted, so didnt scratch up the roof of my mouth like most do. The saurkraut was perfect and they nailed it with the sauce. Best Rueben ever! Anthony nailed it in the kitchen!

We recently used the bridal room to host a small team building activity. The room was clean and beautifully put together. The staff went out of their way to prepare the space for us providing a table and chairs. The owner was easy to contact in the days leading up to our reservation, quick to respond to questions, and lovely to communicate with. I look forward to renting the space again in the future.

Friendly spot with tasty bar food. 1/2025 update. Enjoyed the Steak and aggs and WOW, they did an excellent job. Million dollar bacon is a must ! Worth the quick drive from Des Moines. March Madness for Live music has taken this roadhouse to the next level.
