Drove in by chance and sure enough got in! THANK YOU! Did not disappoint ?
My wife I and drove down from Ottumwa just to visit. The Mead and select Melomel’s were top notch. As a mead maker myself it was nice to see the process on a bigger scale. Well worth the trip for us. Scott & Lori Reeves
Purchased Plumello from NewPi and it is wonderful. We are planning to make a ride to their place, can’t wait.
OMG. If you have the chance or are just contemplating stopping, do it! First time tasting meads, and they were amazing. We loved the wines too! Honestly, the best Iowa wines we have ever had. Looking forward to returning when they have a live music event. Thanks Joel for spending time with us. And, loved to connect with a fellow Iowa Wesleyan alum.
East Grove Farms was a great experience! They took time to explain the different products and shared samples of everything. The biggest problem was deciding which ones to buy. Everything was very good and worthy of taking home!
Great family winery renowned for their mead & music.
What a great hidden gem! The Meads really are the stars! Quite a nice selection for sampling! Took home a few bottles to enjoy later. Hard to pick a favorite.

I had a run in with these fine folks at a micro brew fest in 2018 and for the life of me I could never remember their name. Today I was determined to find the name of the place that made literally the best thing I have ever tasted and I still to this day wish I had more. Going just off my memory of the sticker I have long since lost, I FINALLY tracked it down. I’ll definitely be seeing these great people again soon too treat my tastebuds!!! One small interaction and conversations have made such an impression on me to still remember that experience years later! That’s not something easy most people can recall from 3 Years ago
Thoroughly enjoy everything I have tried from East Grove.
Very nice people. Small, clean, quaint. Beautiful farm area. Excellent mead. It was a very nice experience.
The mead is tasty, the property is beautiful and the people were great. Stop by and support them.
Joel is very accommodating and welcoming. He was happy to let me sample almost a dozen meads and is very easy to talk to. He also took time to explain the process of making mead and was attentive to the questions I asked in order to better understand the process. Will recommend and probably be back!
