I recently visited the Rail for a private party. The restaurant was clean, cozy, decorated for fall. The bartender and waitresses were attentive and pleasant. The food was delicious. We had several beautiful delicious charcuterie boards! Fresh veggies, hard Salami, pickles, olives, dips, cold meats, cheeses……! Our meal was just like Mom would have made!!! Thick Iowa chops, mashed potatoes, best gravy ever, brown sugared carrots! Homemade pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting!! This is a gem of a place! Wish I lived closer! I’d be a regular! Thank you for a great reunion!

Every time we go to Rails, we really enjoy the food and drinks. The menu offers enough options that most everyone can find something to fit their dietary lifestyle, and the staff is more than accommodating if you need to make changes to your order. We have brought our children in for dinner, as well, and staff is always very welcoming to the whole family. We also enjoy the option to place a pick-up order when we don't feel like dining in.

Let me tell you this. Their bacon grilled cheese is a melt in your mouth delight....the New BLT is the most amazing BLT I have ever tasted. The atmosphere is so calm and the ambiance is perfect for a meal or a game of darts. We will definitely be coming back. Great job ladies keep up the good work.
