The service was horrible. She did not earn her 18% that was a mandatory tip as we had a large table. We waited an hour and 15 minutes to even be asked what we wanted to eat. She didn't even bring everybody their drinks until she was asked where is my drink. She never asked for refills we had to ask her. I asked for a second beer and never received it. She did however say oh I forgot your beer as she was bringing her checks to pay. She never came back to see how our meal was until we were done. 2 of us had shrimp in our meal and they were both way overcooked.
Service was awesome, food is always average and spendy for what you get. Beer not cold ever. Been here several times. Probably no more.
Not a bad place. The core menu has not changed at all since they opened.

Close by both hotels in town and I thought I would venture down as the main street was under construction and the local brewery/Pizza joint was on the other side of the mess. I started with Marto Octoberfest which was fantastic. I educated the bartender that it is Sioux City local brew. There are few other locals on tap but I will get to them after my meal. I started with a side salad which was fresh and tasty. I ordered the Creamy Lemon Salmon Florentine as it is basic. There are signature dishes but a few have so many options I was not sure what made them special. The Steak and Mushroom Fettuccine looked the best but I opted for fish 1000 miles away from any ocean in the heart of cattle and pig country. The Salmon was okay and lacked a well sauteed spinach. Too much pasta but there were some big boys eating when I was in. I suspect the salmon was frozen but was a good low calorie option. (Do not eat all the pasta) After a few bites I remembered there were tomatoes. As I looked around several of the dishes looked amazing. From high end steaks, amazing apps and a very good selection of beer and cocktails. I am very glad I made the walk over and did not drive to a fancy pizza place.

Bacon jam and havarti chicken breast. The chicken was clearly reheated. It was cooked all the way through but had cold spots. The cheese didn't melt and was bad texture. They weren't busy and could have taken the time to properly prepare the food.
