I enjoyed this restaurant. The food options were good and different. The menu is easy to follow. Prices are good because sides are separate and you can pick what sides you want. there is a good selection of sauces but you get to choose what sauces you want and how much. this is a good stop if your north of des moines.

We biked a couple blocks off the bike trail to come this restaurant and boy was it worth it. I had the Taco Fabuloso. Best taco I’ve ever had. Not a Mexican flavor, a bbq flavor. Great pulled pork, amazing sauce, ‘Aussie Hottie’ sauce, kinda sweet a little hot, yum. I bought some pulled pork and sauce to take home since we live 5 hours away. We definitely will have to go back to Iowa because of this place. The baked beans were pretty exceptional as well. Nice people, good experience.

I had the pork ribs. They were very good and very meaty. The potato thingy things they had instead of French fries were a little odd and not to my taste, but the banana pudding tasted much better than it looked. It was a nice place and was worth the trip.

I do not recommend using bfab for catering. After booking for our wedding we read reviews online about portion sizes being off, which worried me so we chose to pay for extra portions ahead of time to mitigate, but they STILL ran out of both entrees before all the guests were through the line. And this was with bfab staff serving! I was devastated to hear some of our guests did not get served a main dish. I can't even imagine how bad it would have been if we didn't order the extra food ahead of time.Bfab was also unable to meet my request to have one of the BBQ sauces labeled as tomato free, so the father of the bride (who's allergic) wasn't sure which one was safe so he ended up going without sauce. He was the one who paid for the catering, so I found this very disappointing. Food was good, but no chance for seconds. Hopefully they figure out the portion sizing and are able to improve service.
Food was good pretty small portions on the sampler, the staff must of been having a really bad day. It was our first time there and nobody greeted us we had to ask another customer how to order our food we won’t be back .

My experience at B Fabulous was mixed, and that is because of the price to proportion ratio. I feel that the prices are too high for what you get, and they limit your amount of BBQ sauce you have with your food to a small cup. The food was just meh as well. I would've liked it more if sauces were at the tables, and I didn't need to ask for silverware. The cups you get for your drink are also very small, making me refill multiple times. You also aren't helped at the table, and have to order at the counter and get a buzzer even if you're sitting 3 feet away from them. Overall not pleased and think improvements are needed.
