We stopped while riding bikes with a group and had great service on the patio. Strangely the bathrooms were unavailable for some reason which I found uncomfortable because they are serving us drinks and we had nowhere to relieve our bladders. I hope that is something they can solve in the future or we will probably not make the effort to visit. Otherwise it’s a cool place, at least the patio is. I think they were closed for a private event so we were not allowed inside. So maybe a port a potty for outdoor guests.?

The Slater Station is a gem in the heart of Slater, Iowa. Amazing owners, bartenders, drinks, food trucks and even live music! The environment they have created is unbeatable.
