If you haven’t visited The Slater Station — you are missing out!
A small town bar with a big, warm, down-to-earth personality! The staff is kind and seem genuinely concerned that the patrons get what they came for, a good time. The outdoor patio is skillfully designed and comfortable, the bar is stocked and ready and the smiles are infectious. The inside space is also inviting and the restrooms are squeaky clean.
Big shout out to the staff for your genuine hospitality. We hope to see you again soon!

We stopped while riding bikes with a group and had great service on the patio. Strangely the bathrooms were unavailable for some reason which I found uncomfortable because they are serving us drinks and we had nowhere to relieve our bladders. I hope that is something they can solve in the future or we will probably not make the effort to visit. Otherwise it’s a cool place, at least the patio is. I think they were closed for a private event so we were not allowed inside. So maybe a port a potty for outdoor guests.?

The Slater Station is a gem in the heart of Slater, Iowa. Amazing owners, bartenders, drinks, food trucks and even live music! The environment they have created is unbeatable. They have a beautiful patio to enjoy in the warmer months. Inside is equally as stunning and unique. If you’re looking for a good time and a fun/friendly atmosphere, stop in and support local. You won’t be disappointed!
