I was up at the Lakes this past week and reached out on an Okoboji Facebook page about coffee shops in the area. I received lots of great suggestions, so I tried a different place every morning. I ordered the same drink at each location (iced turtle latte with skim milk), and while they were all good, there was one that rose to the top - Black Earth Java. Coffee was fine, just takes a long time standing in line to order. Probably 15 min to order and 10-15min for your order.

Absolutely fantastic service, fun location, fun drinks, and also the bearded guy is extremely nice. Unlike others who try to imitate them, BEJ stays winning.
