Went here for the first time on a very busy Friday night around 6:30. Had only a 10 minute wait at the most. Our food server was amazing! Very friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. We had the buffet/salad bar & the Friday night special, barbecue ribs. Large menu to choose from. Everything was delicious! We are looking forward to another visit!

Amazing food and one of the nicest servers I have ever experienced. Shared the hot beef and tenderloin with my wife and they were both amazing. Had a side of onion rings that were skinny and fantastic. Thanks Sally

Great place. Chose this restaurant because they listed a salad bar and we were craving fresh veggies. In addition to the regular salad offerings, the bar included two pasta salads, potato salad, bologna spread, cheese spread, and two soups. My partner ordered the ribeye which he said was perfectly cooked and the garlic mashed potatoes that he loved. I ordered the haddock with a baked potato. The potato was not as well done as I prefer so it was hard rather than fluffy. The haddock was delicious and was two large pieces, which was twice as much as I could eat. Great service and food!

We've heard about this place for a while, and finally got a chance to stop in.
It definitely lives up to the hype. And its fair on price & portions!

The food was great tasting, and the cream of chicken with vegetables was amazing from the salad bar.

Don't pass up on giving this place a try. We're coming back for sure, and try the breakfast buffet!

Sally's offers a full menu of sandwiches, salads and pasta dishes plus a bonus salad bar that you don't find in many restaurants. Fresh selection of old time dishes plus yummy soups. Dinner buffet always offers broasted chicken, fish nuggets and popcorn shrimp plus sides. Plenty of choices for the price. Home-made pies too!

My wife and I have been going to Sally’s for a couple of years now, after stumbling on it while looking for someplace new to try. We’ve been coming back every week or so since and have yet to be disappointed in the food, service, or atmosphere. They have a menu with wide variety of choices, from burgers to steaks. My wife invariably goes with a French Dip or Hot Beef. I am still working my way through the menu, but gotta mention the Rueben sandwich, breaded tenderloin, and homemade soups on the salad bar. The fried chicken is good, but not available until 4pm. Don’t miss the onion rings as well. They are outstanding!

The atmosphere is best described as “eclectic”, with an emphasis on Hawkeye sports. Sally (the owner) is very engaged in the community, and frequently has fund raisers for various causes, and is a strong supporter of veterans.

Went for the prime rib dinner, but got in too early (it's served after 5pm), so had to settle for other options. Having said that, there are a lot of options available as the menu is extensive.

Service was quick, server gave good information about the menu and the town.

We went with:
mozzarella sticks for an appetizer, great choice, breading was crispy, the cheese was warm and soft. Marinara sauce was a pre-made sealed portion, decent, but not anything special.

Hawaiian grilled chicken sandwich, good flavors, soft bun and a very good sized chicken breast. Grilled pineapple slices were a nice touch.

Ruben sandwich, bread was perfectly toasted, meat was tender, sourkrout was good (little runny, which made the second half of the sandwich a little soggy). I should have propped it on the fries.

Pickles slices were served off the sandwiches, very crisp, good flavor too.

Onion rings are very thin with a light breading, really good! Didn't even need anything to dip them in.

French Fries had a crispy exterior and soft interior, lightly salted and delicious.

Prices are very reasonable, parking is easy, we'll be back to try the prices rib.

Overall it's worth stopping in.

Sally is wonderful and the food was amazing. The Maid-Rite sandwiches, tenderloin sandwiches and all the sides were so yummy. Sundae for dessert. 😋 Worth the trip.

The food is always good but we had a wonderful server who brought our leftover food out to us as we forgot it! Appreciate her!
