If your gonna give out gift certificates then you need advertise on them only one can be used at a time. Really expensive food. For 2 burritos and 2 single pops its 37.00

Kind and attentive service. Food was prompt and hot. The cashier made excellent suggestions. Presentation was great. This was a welcome break from Arby’s. Refried beans do have lard, so that may be concern for some. We just made sure we ordered items without refried beans.

Absolutely terrible. The food tasted old. Even the beverages. No thought or care put into the food. The beverages were flat, like they don't change the carbonation tanks. We were in around noon and there was only two other people. The place was so humid and smelled horrible. Still willing to try, we ordered. Big mistake. As our food was brought out, my boyfriend and I had a few bites and we were done. Everything tasted old, spoiled, or stale. We dumped our plates after having a couple bites and left to find another place to have lunch. Do not recommend stopping there.

I have loved Abelardo’s since they have come to town. You cannot go wrong with their breakfast burritos, cowboy fries, or their three queso tacos to name a few. Every single employee is so kind, and they all strive in making their customers happy. I hate to admit this, but they even recognize my voice and order through the drive thru now that I come so much and they remind me if I forget something, haha! My family just loves their options and low prices...especially taco Tuesday!

Been to several Abelardo a all over Des Moines and Ames and this was my first time trying storm lake restaurant ordered the carne adada burrito when I received it I first noticed the size wasn’t there compared to other ones they have always been known to to be a big fat sized burrito it was long and skinny I should have taken a pic but was on a short lunch break from work I was still hungry after eating it horribly priced at $13 for its size very disappointed it should of easily been a $7-$8 burrito for its size taste was there but size no
