I had the Southern Comfort platter and it was incredibly awesome. The gravy on the biscuit w/gravy was the best I’ve had, almost licked the plate. The home fries were great and the eggs done exactly to order. Our server, Kourtney was exceptionally friendly and gracious. Wish I lived closer so I could come back.
This was simply a wonderful home cooked meal. I travel so much and when I do, I miss good home-cooked food. This was so good, and very friendly staff, wonderful atmosphere and they have anything you could possibly want. They go above and beyond for their customers. If you are in Storm Lake, this is a must go to place to eat! I highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed, I promise. Go, seriously, just go! Yummy food!!
Not only does the Lakeshore Cafe have a very convenient location, being right next to the Budget Inn Motel, but the service and the food was absolutely excellent. As soon as I stepped in there, they were extremely friendly, and helpful. It was my very first time having a country fried steak, and they were very understanding of my dietary needs, in regards to what came with it and what I could have in place of certain items.
