A colleague and I attempted to eat lunch at puffs, we were told by the wait staff after we had already sat down and ordered a drink that the “kitchen closed at 2pm” it was 2:03.. I still heard the fryers going and about 5 minutes later all 4 members of the wait staff were at the other end of the bar eating food they had just made…. They seemed rude and unhelpful, I won’t ever go back there and wouldn’t encourage anyone to stop in there anytime soon.

This is a cool place with a fantastic view of the lake. It has a very good layout with lots of tvs to watch sports. It lost the 5th star for me because the waiter was not very attentive so we had to go up and ask for our checks and the food could use more variety that isn't fried. However the goonies their specialty were great with a lot of flavor and variety. Despite the minimal flaws I would return for sure.

Best burger I’ve had on the trip! All of our food was delicious. Best cheese balls too! The cook must be amazing! Great friendly service and atmosphere. Don’t miss this place if you are in Storm Lake!

Recently went here with my husband and a few friends, my husband started a tab that in the end was only $30. We paid but was told only 2¢ was paid- our account showed a pending charge of the full amount and since then has posted for that amount. But before anything we had to pay $30 AGAIN as there was “nothing they can do”. That’s $60. We have been waiting for our promised refund to no avail. Not only that but our friends who also had tabs were incorrectly charged more. This place is fine any other time, but don’t start a tab.

Bartender lady was rude, expected a larger tip, told my friend he wasn’t allowed in there because he’s “an obnoxious red-head”Seems racist to me but he’s white so I’m not sure how that works:/
Food was OK. No prices on the menu. That was strange. Place was super busy so it understandably took a long time but server did great considering.

Puff’s was a good spot to watch a game and drink some cheap drinks. I would leave it five stars, but the men’s restroom didn’t have a mirror which means I couldn’t snap a quick selfie for the gram. Because of that, I automatically have to give four stars instead of five.Outside of that, the bar was clean, drinks were reasonably priced and everyone working was kind.
