I stopped at the Scooters in Storm Lake the other morning, and Jolene absolutely made my entire day. I was greeted at the window with the warmest, most cheerful holiday welcome — the kind of greeting that instantly lifts your mood. At one point she even told me I “smelled like cinnamon and happiness,” and honestly, I’m still smiling about it.
On top of that, my drink was made to absolute perfection. Exactly what I needed, exactly how I hoped it would taste — and somehow even better because of the energy she brought to the experience.
Her enthusiasm, kindness, and genuine pride in her work were so strong that I honestly thought she might be the franchise owner. I’m not sure what her official position is, but she carries herself like someone who truly cares about her customers and the business as a whole.
People like Jolene are the reason customers stay loyal. She has officially earned my business every time I’m back in town. Storm Lake is incredibly lucky to have her!

So inconsistent, this is Supposed to be a strawberry peach smoothie. With strawberry purée. One of their duos smoothies. Not good at all and honestly taste like nothing. I’ve gotten this smoothie plenty of times in the past never looked or tasted like this. Super irritating considering they gotten my order wrong the first time.

Awful experience. Went to get coffee and they gave me a medium instead of the large I paid for. I let them know it was a medium so they took it back to remake it. In the kitchen I seen they dumped it to a large cup and put in more ice to make it look like it was a large. I told them to keep their diluted coffee and got my money back. Will NOT BE GOING TO THIS STORM LAKE IOWA LOCATION EVER AGAIN.

Normally I love scooters and they have very good service but when I went this morning and ordered a large hot pumpkin carmelicious they did not fill it up. Was still very good just wish I got my moneys worth?
Best.. Best.. Best coffee place in town. Those Caramelicious are the best and they are fast to make ur drink. Love, love love.

I am certainly a Scooters fanatic, and this is my usual location. Depending on the day, the drinks and food are well-prepared and staff is polite. On occasion drinks are made wrong, the food is cold, and the staff are too preoccupied talking to do anything other than hand you your order. Overall, I would definitely visit, but just be prepared for a hit-or-miss (usually hit!) experience.
