Permanently closed. Still has christmas tree and decorations up. And there is a hole in the roof. They just closed the doors and didnt G.A.F. never came back. One less real resturant for us to eat at. Fast food becoming only option. And they wonder why Americans are so Fat.
Stopped here on the way home. The staff were very pleasant but that is about all the positives. Food was was barely edible and the interior was quite dated.
Great coffee. Friendly staff. Glad to get a home style meal out on the road We will stop in again
Very nice atmosphere! Delicious food. Very good for breakfast! Thanks
Stopped in for lunch on our way home from NE. Service and food was really good. Try their cinnamon pancakes they are excellent. My breakfast skillet was really good also. Hubby had the rueben and he said it was good also. Their booths needed replaced or reupholstered, maybe the new owners will update them.
The food tasted bad. Definitely not fresh anything. My burger had that spongey taste like it when something has been frozen a long time. Waitress was nice. Strong chain
Probably the poorest sandwich I've had during an entire week of eating out. Service was snippy when I responded truthfully to the "how is everything" question. Now I know why the parking lot was soooo empty!
Disappointed. The pork items are gone. My shrimp basket had shrimp sooo over cooked they were hard. Will not eat here again.
Had turkey with stuffing,, mashed potatoes and gravy with cranberry sauce. It's too bad that so many Country Kitchen restaurants have closed in Iowa. They have good food. The building isn't much to write home about. Waitresses were very nice. It's a little difficult to find but glad we did.
Parking: Plenty of parking. Next to a Phillips 66 station which are almost non existent in Iowa.
The best description for this place is normal. Really good chicken fried steak. Wonderful place to eat when on the road.

I stopped there for breakfast. I just couldnt eat it! I had a skillet and it was the nastiest thing I have ever tasted. Im not a picky eater either. I ate the cold pancakes and drank my tea. Took two bites of the skillet and about threw up. I told the waitress I wasnt going to eat it. That it was nasty. So she charged me for my tea and my cold tiny pancakes. JUST so I could go down the road and find somewhere to get breakfast. I am local and I will not return!
Good diner feel and the food was exactly what I wanted. Wait time was kind of long, but with their low prices and good food, it's worth it. Staff is friendly and accommodated my odd diet. We'll be back!
Great food. All 3 dishes we ordered were delicious and our waitress was friendly and attentive.
Great food service and proportions however the restaurant could use a refresh and tune up so if you dont care about how restaurants look and only about good food come here!
Stopped here with my Wife and her Mom on the way home from Wyoming. The Buffet was small, but food was excellent. They also have a menu option , which had a lot of choices. Wait staff is very friendly. We all enjoyed it
