But dear Lord the cakes. ? they are huge and a real speciality annoyed I lost my pictures ??. So will update when I find them.

What a great gem in this town. The place is exactly what you’d expect from a small, charming town. Get the Granny Gobbler Sandwich. It’s delicious and unexpecting. I definitely will be back next time I’m visiting Iowa.

I absolutely adore this place! Every single item I've tried has been a hit. The burgers fire, the sandwiches fire, baked beans fire , and the cakes and sweets are simply divine. Their lattes and special drinks are out of this world. It's like enjoying a home-cooked meal but elevated to a whole new level. This place is the bees knees ??!
This has become my go-to for meeting friends from Iowa City or Cedar Rapids. The food is very good, and they take gluten free seriously. Good tea and coffee options, and a beautiful and delicious dessert selection. Have also found good Iowa themed gifts there. Staff is outstanding! Feels like you’re in your friend’s mom’s kitchen. Very friendly and in the 10+ times I’ve been there in the last year, always an excellent experience.
Dietary restrictions: Two in my family have gluten allergies. Although this is not a gluten-free kitchen, we haven’t had a problem. The staff are knowledgeable about what has gluten and they offer gf bread and some dishes are gf anyway.

We've been coming here for years for coffee and baked goods. It used to be amazing.But with the news owners, it's always young kids by themselves at the register who don't know how to work it, don't listen, and don't know how to make the drinks. One literally asked us today "do you want milk in your latte". Please just train your staff and have proper supervision. Baked goods are still amazing, baker needs a raise.

A wonderful experience. We were on the road and stopped here to wait out the storm. Bakery is amazing. Hazelnut coffee is out of this world. Huge selection of delicious lunch options too. Highly recommend!

Such a cute and welcoming place! I went here with a group of girls to have lunch. Staff was very friendly. I had the Skinny Ginny and a house coffee. Everything was delicious! I will definitely be back! Place gets very busy, so you might want to make a reservation!
