Don't let the dive bar surroundings scare you away, this Madre can cook! I had the pork (al pastor) and wife had marinated chicken. The outside is toasted on the grill and filled with tasty meat, rice, beans, tomato, lettuce, sour cream and fresh avocado. One of the best burritos I've ever had.

We came into Tama to eat supper on our road trip. Googled best places to eat and this was the 2nd place recommended on the list. We got a little confused on where it was but we found it. We had to ask ourselves is this right? No one was there, it was dark looking but we did go in. We were met by a sweet short little lady who offered us their menu. We ordered their steak burritos with the full works. Watched the young man cook our food. He brought us our food and well we dug in. Oh my my my it's the best mexican food I've ever ate. This place is amazing for the food. Forgot to mention the size of the burrito and the price is almost not enough for the size they are. I'll be back here to try all their burritos. Delicious, hot and fresh.
