Found this place for lunch on a long trip home, gave it a shot, and it did not disappoint! The server was really nice and the service was fast. I got the tenderloin because I'm a tenderloin snob, and it was great. I actually had to get a to-go box for the other half. Two of us, each got a sandwich and fries, I got soda, and he got a beer, $26.

For a small bar, it's usually pretty full on Friday and Saturday nights it being a bar food is not their main thing, and I don't usually get there while the grill is going but it's a friendly place

We were in town for an event at the Meskwaki Casino and decided to find a local tavern to kill some time. The Pump did not disappoint!!!! It was everything a small town bar should be. Non pretentious and welcoming.

Bailey was the first bartender we had and was very attentive and as an added bonus we found out she makes her own sourdough bread. She has a nice little farm with fresh local items. We were able to purchase a loaf of cinnamon swirl she had leftover...
