We did the Templeton tour today and it was led by Lynn. Lynn was simply amazing with her stories and the information about the history and evolution of Templeton Distillery
Highly recommended
Fabulous product! Customer service was great!
Great trip to this distillery.had a flight at the bar and it was good. Gift shop is nice and the staff is very friendly.
Definitely off the beaten path but a must for whiskey fans.
The distillery is the town's history, and the town is the distillery's backbone of survival.
Great tour, tons of history dating back to the 1800s was offered, which was great to hear. Some of the stories were hilarious and so interesting. I'd love to go on the tour again sometime.
This is the go to stop in Iowa. Most well versed distillery tour I’ve ever been on! Fully immersive and informative on the prohibition era and really dives deep into the history of Templeton itself. You’ll learn about the hiding places, and the great lengths people went to have their whiskey. Great sense of belonging throughout Templeton. Also, you can take pictures along the entire guided tour, they hold nothing back at all. Will definitely be back for another visit!
Nice place, good vibe.
We didn't schedule a tour before hand, you do that on line which we know now. Nice little museum and gift shop.
Good location, you can park overnight. They start working from 7-30 am. Good parking

My wife and I made the out of the way trip on our way back from Des Moines. We did the $10 tour and it was quite informative about prohibition and the great lengths people went to get there drink on!
We had a drink at the bar after the tour (duh!)
I highly recommend the smoked old fashioned- it was lit!?
Had a tour with Doyle. He was an awesome tour guide. Great facility and friendly people. A must stop if you are traveling through Iowa and a fan of their whiskey.
We had a wonderful experience there. Great little showroom with access to items they only sell in-person.
We showed up at a time when they weren't ordinarily open and they let us in early so we could look around, view the museum, and do some shopping.
I usually don't go for rye and prefer the corn/malts, but I'll give this an extra go due to how hospitable they were. I love that level of customer service.
Thank you!
Cool place! ? highly recommend!
