We've lived in Iowa over 16yrs near Thor and we ate here at Unkies for the 1st time on 10/4/24. We've heard how good the food is by many. Well it was not just good it was GREAT, we had an 8oz Rib-eye. It was cooked perfect, flavored just right.
The service was Fabulous too.

They use the KISS method. Keep it simple stupid. They have a relatively small menu but they do all of it very well. Something here for everyone.

Always get great service. We live about 2 hours away but it is always a nice treat. The jumbo shrimp is ? and the prime rib is very good. Get the sandwich cut prime rib with a few shrimp. It won't disappoint.

One of the best steakhouses that I've ever been to, and I've traveled this country from border to border and coast to coast! The steak is cooked to melt-in- your mouth perfection! And shrimp are to die for!!!!
