Our large, Irish family was there yesterday to toast my uncle. His siblings were there and his son along with his family. The woman tending bar was awful. It was 1:30 in the afternoon. As I waited in line to get our drinks I looked up at the sign in the bar that says “We honor our veterans.” I got up to the bar after she repeatedly and sharply yelled to all of us that the bar closes at 3pm. I leaned in and I said “I see your sign that says you honor veterans. We just honored one today with his funeral.” Be kind. Be loving. If you honor veterans then honor them and their families. She continued to be awful until we dutifully left. We all felt so bad that we even went in there. A celebration of life should have been welcome. She was rude, abrasive and dismissive. I would never recommend anyone go in there any day- funeral or not.

I was with the group of 6 people. We were going to sit at the bar. There weren't enough chairs for all 6 of us, so a couple of us were going to stand. I believe it was the owner that barked at us. Told us nobody could stand and we had to sit in the back. She was so rude we left.

We have road trip Fridays where we venture out to communities we’ve never been. Came across this cute town and how can you not stop at a bar with this name! We weren’t all the way in the door when we were met with a rude bartender letting us know we had 45 minutes and she was shutting down to prep for dinner. Hello would have been nice. In the time the 6 of us ordered drinks we were reminded how we needed to hurry up and get out several times. Turns out this was the owner! The bar was fine and the appetizers looked good but we were afraid to order anything let alone a second drink. If you’re not a local and were wanting a fun stop-this might not be the place for you. Only when we left and apologized for inconveniencing her did we get some friendliness. Small town charm=no. The drinks were nicely priced. Would have been happy to have another.

Excellent corn on the cob. And burgers and drinks are just as good. Nice quiet bar great food eat inside or get it to go.
Kid-friendliness: Well it's a bar. I don't think you will be turned away but it's a bar environment keep in mind
