Told to seat ourselves and then sat a booth for 10-15 minutes and we never saw a server. Maybe they are short handed but at least have someone say so.

Was first time here. Came in during a slow time, happy hour. We didn't order anything on HH, citrus beer was almost $10. He got 2 margaritas, I got water and a cheeseburger. Our bill was $80, he got a cheeseburger, no appetizers. I got a burger w/ BBQ sauce and onion ring. Burger had the SMALLEST amount of cheese (not even a full slice), and barely any sauce. I asked for more cheese (they use shredded packaged cheese for the burger, not melty slices), never got the cheese. Husband got a PB&J burger, asked for LTOP on the side. The cook didn't understand what he wanted on the side, so the burger came out UNBUILT. The patty was not on the bun, the cold cheese in a cup, he had to build the whole thing and it was all cold. The burger patties were the driest burgers I have ever had. Wish we would have went anywhere else. Server was very nice, she did a great job. Very clean inside.

Never been here before, stopped in for one beer at the bar. Cashed out & was charged $10 for an IPA. Noooo thank you.

We live in the area so I've been here a handful of occasions and each time left disappointed. With the latest experience, my entire family was in town and wanted to go somewhere to watch the game. We were not greeted by any of the staff upon entry. (They weren't busy.) While our server was polite, she got 4 of the 6 orders incorrect. The draft beer tasted off like the lines haven't been cleaned in a while. The food was mediocre at best. The staff was bickering in front of guests.

Like I said- you can't base a review off of one experience, but after 5 in a row, it confirmed I will never try it again nor will I recommend it.

The best part about Blue Shark Alehouse is their Daily Specials which offer great value if you can eat a lot.
My friends and I visited twice for their All You Can Eat Wings (which can be boneless upon request) and their All You Can Eat Fish Fry both of which taste pretty good, especially for the price!

I really appreciated the wide variety of sauces available for their wings some of which were very hot and very flavourful which keeps things interesting. I have no complaints about it.

Their fish though is a bit more of a mixed bag. Your first order of fish comes with a complementary order of crinkle cut fries and includes two fillets but do know that your second, third, forth etcetera doesn't and additional fries will cost you extra (I would've really liked to know that before ordering as it caught us off guard when it came to the bill. I feel it should really be disclosed either before ordering or on the menu.)

I was also slightly disappointed that there is a unexplained 3% Service Fee applied to the bill which is expected in addition to the usual 18-25% tip.

It's not a lot but as a matter of principle I find it a little dishonest and disingenuous to advertise one price to the customer and online and then inflate it later without disclosure. This should absolutely be removed and instead factored into the regular menu and incorporated into the price of ingredients as any normal business would do if their expenses went up.

Overall though. I think it's a pretty good place to go if your in a big group. It might not be the best food in the world but it's got a great atmosphere, tastes good and honestly even with the fees and non-disclosures it's still relatively cheap.

They'll definitely earn an extra star from me if they increase their transparency in this respect and take my feedback on board.

Alison V is the world’s ok-est server!!!

All jokes aside, she really does a great job every time me and my knucklehead large group of friends stops by.

Thank you Alison for all that you do (and put up with)

Have a great experience here.
Shark Punch drink was delicious. Great flavors to it.
Spinach Artichoke appetizer was delicious. Came out hot a fresh.
Margherita Flatbread with added pepperoni was also great.
Service was also amazing. She was patient with us while my friends and I chatted. Didn't rush us to order or anything. They were not busy when we went, I'd say inside was about half full while there was plenty of seating outdoors also.
