Self check out normally is a disaster but today I got helped by Michelle.T and she was awesome. She was able to multitask and help with questions along with making sure we got out of there without a hassle. Amazing food and well trained staff. Michelle T working the self check out line on Saturday June 10th was the best so far though

Créme brûlée was disgusting.. yellow egg cottage cheese with layer of glue on top essentially. Alfredo tasted terrible, was dry and I couldn’t even eat half of it. It tasted like eating slimy nothing, super plain. Lost my appetite...Waitress was nice but slow and left us alone for about 40 minutes. Also way too much ice in the water. Overall unsatisfactory.

5 stars but only for the baked bread!!! Love this store for the baked bread- what an awesome surprise to have fresh baked bread and they will slice it for you if you ask!! Produce is way over priced. They have other services like hot food, cheese bar, deli and so much more!!

This place used to have the greatest Chinese food even better than any other Chinese place I mean it i was good. But they downgraded now is not that great anymore ?.

Always enjoy a great breakfast at HyVee Marketplace. The food is fantastic, and the wait staff is excellent. I would recommend their omelettes as they are fluffy and packed with meats and cheeses.

I use to love the Hy-Vee in Urbandale's bakery and have ordered cakes for over 15 years for all my kids birthdays and different events. Lately they've had what sounds like 13 yr. Olds answering the phones and taking orders. They have no idea how anything works and can't answer simple questions. I would suggest going to the Johnston location for all of your bakery needs.

hyvees are becoming so fancy and high end. that i can't find the basic stuff I need. so then I have to find another store to go to. I don't needvor want fancy at my grocery store.

Homestyle potatoes are horrible, who doesn’t serve hash browns for breakfast. Corporate decision I’m told, find somewhere else to go other than Hy-Vee.

Dan H. Was extremely helpful and kind today. The market was very busy, and so was he! He had the whole place wiped down continuously, greeted all approaching customers and helped get anything they might need- all with his cheery attitude! I come here often and am always happy to see Dan working. You’ve got a keeper! ?
