I got a steak omelette with no steak and it was completely Grizzly what was in there. They bought me some more over and then I couldn't even chew it. It was very disappointing. However I do love their turkey avocado sandwich

Food was solid and good. Server was friendly enough though it did take a five minute personal phone call to be answered and audibly addressed by the server before maple syrup was brought out to the table just as I was about to get up and ask.
The real issue is I was charged three more dollars than what I had written down as the tip. It's not so much that I was worried about three dollars, but I do want to give people fair notice to watch their credit card statements in case there are people at this location who are adding in a few extra dollars onto what is written down on the receipt.
Needless to say I contacted the credit card company, but if this sort of thing happened to me, then it's most likely happened to others. Most people will never notice an extra two, three, or four dollars charged onto their bill by the time they get their credit card statement. Heck, many people hardly even go through their statement. Just be careful and mindful of your bill if you pay by card at this place. I know many people are running tight budgets these days and can't afford even a few dollars of theirs mysteriously missing.
The food is good however.

My family and I went to breakfast and We walked out because the restaurant was very dirty, and it was around 8:30 am so definitely showing the place was not cleaned the night before. Food places should be clean. I love IHOP food but definitely would not be eating at the Douglas Ave one.

Good food. Distracted server, never brought my coffee. When I asked her to remove it from the bill she said, oh sorry I never added it. Totally forgot my coffee. The water was good.
Service was phenomenal , never had a better waitress in my life. Pineapple in fruit bowl was rotting. Ham and hollandaise sauce sour, turkey sandwich smelled and tasted like fish. I won’t go back here for food but if that waitress is ever working at an another restaurant I would go there. I think her name was Tammy? I didn’t tell her about the food and she didn’t cook it so none of that is on her. Food - rotten - zero stars. Our waitress - 10 million stars.

Parking: IHOP may at busy times run out of parking space. However, the bank next door, Supalco, has excess parking space.
Order the Steak Tips & Eggs and whoever cooked tonight forgot the Onions and Mushrooms that are on it. Little dissatisfied about it
