We love treating ourselves to Orange Leaf. They have many different flavors of frozen yogurt and usually some sorbet, and I love that they label the ones that are gluten free and dairy free. They have many different toppings, and they also have acai bowls. There are 3 different sizes you can choose from, and they are priced by size and not by weight. They will also give you a small taste cup to try the flavors before you make your selection. l have celiac, so I have to worry about cross-contamination with the toppings, but they have offered to get me fresh toppings from the back to ensure they haven't been cross contaminated. I would absolutely recommend Orange Leaf.

We had the nicest treat when we stopped at OL Urbandale. I love the coffee favor. The young lady, Crystal, who served us was so pleasant. The store was clean, served us a delicious treat with fun people. We will go back when we pass through again.

The sweet treats were amazing!!!! And on top of that there was an incredible worker there who was funny and energetic got offered free samples offered napkins overall experience 10/10

This was incredible. Came with three friends and a funny incredible kind man greeted us. Please make him the owner of every orange leaf everywhere because he was so energetic and funny. I don’t know his name but you have to know who I’m talking about. He offered samples and everything. Felt like a VIP guest. 10/10

This was the best experience I have ever had. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by an incredible, energetic, funny, kind human being. He was so fun and I wish he was here everytime I come. Promote him to manager NOW. He practically runs the store. Please please please promote him and say hi if you see him

This is still a location I'll take my kids to, however I'm leaving a negative review in hopes that the owner will make a few changes.
The glass has not been streak/fingerprint free the last 3 visits here. Please clean your windows. They are dirty even on the employee side. The floor is disgusting - deep scrub the floors, and sweep daily maybe several times a day next to the toppings counter.
The cookies and cream topping is significantly more cold than other flavors. I thought my kid was being dramatic when crying every third bite that it hurts. I got her a different color, thinking she's being a brat and we left the cookies and cream on the side. I tried it myself after it had been sitting there for 15 mins while we enjoyed other flavors, and to my surprise it was still extremely cold. It felt like shredded ice particles with a bit of burning sensation on the tongue. It actually hurt compared to the other flavors I myself tried that day. Check out the temp on this one. Something is off.
3 kids were behind the counter - one had the orange leaf shirt on. I know they're teenagers, but get them shirts, or don't have randoms hanging behind the counter.
Trash was overflowing all three times I've been there. Both side bins were overflowing. When it happens once, it's a busy day, but three times - clearly owner is not present.
Tables need washed and paint refurbished. Labels by the cups counter are worn out and disgusting.
I'm hoping changes get made and I can take this down and update the review. Thank you.

Absolutely terrible. Have not been to this location in several years. Not clean at all. From the walls to the floor to the tables. Everything you touch is just sticky. It surprised me that the toppings are now self serve instead of when it used to be an employee behind the counter putting the toppings on. Sticky spoons for the toppings. Toppings cross contaminated. Not a single fruit container had fruit that should have been out to be served. The strawberries were all past expiration but cut & out anyway. Opted not to have toppings. Ordered a smoothie, had we known the fruit from the containers is what would be used to make the smoothie would have passed on ordering. The smoothie went to the garbage. It’s sad to see how much this location has gone down in just basic standards. Can’t say we will be returning soon or recommending.
