I took my mom here for lunch today. The food was SO good and fresh and it came quickly. The specials here are amazing. It’s refreshing to spend less than $10 for a good lunch. Friendly hostess, waitress and cashier as well.

Food was lukewarm by the time it got to our table, the waitress had one speed, which was slow. When we walked in, the waitress was have a conversation with someone who had already paid their bill at the cash register, ignoring the people in front of us waiting to be seated. I spent $30, she was lucky to get a $1 tip. We’ve been to this location several times and this time was the worst.

They where rood wouldn't seat us. One lady called me un educated

This was the 2nd time that we had our meal at this location. The experience was wonderful.In our visit it started and ended with a max rating. Start to finish. The resturant was quit and not many customers there.It was later the evening at first we wondered if they were getting ready to close. We were greeted by Julia and with a genuine smile and we felt very comfortable as we were seated. Coffee and beverages were brought very quickly. We appreciate that at the beginning the pace was very good and the atmosphere was quite and comfortable. Our meals came to the table with in minutes it seemed. Piping hot and the appearance of our meals was great.smelled fantastic and looked very apititizing. Server was wonderful and very friendly. The meal was very delicious and have absolutely no complaints. The service,The food,The cleanliness was great. This means alot to us,when we paid for the meal,we found that she was the manager. Julia made our dining at Perkins nothing but great. We were offered desert and your pies are the best. Especially the silk pie. We rank this location 8601 Hickman Road,Desmoines,Iowa has the highest rank that you have to offer.we rank everything across the board as 5.No complaints and we will recommend this store to everyone we know. This was our second time eating at this establishment,we forsure will dine the again.It was simply wonderful. We thank the whole staff for it. Thank you very much

Both servers Saturday 08/16 were most attentive and courteous! I walk with a cane and will be 89 in month.

Went with Grandchildren for pie. It was very good agreed on by all.

The hash browns are super crispy the strawberry waffles are also very crispy and delicious very quick and good service would recommend!!!

Our server is rude and so slow every time we come here. Today was definitely the last time we come to this location. She needs to reevaluate her job as a server/waitress cause she is lacking customer service skills big time. We waited 59 monutes for our food. All because I changed the Mac and cheese to a grilled cheese. Let’s be real it takes 5 minutes or less to whip up a grilled cheese.

Meet a friend and enjoyed some coffee and some lovely strawberry pie. There was no wait for a table, and service was friendly and fast. The pie was superb.

Great place

I needed a Banana Cream Pie quickly. I called early in the morning to be certain they had it available. They did and when I arrived about 15 minutes later, it was boxed & ready. Super nice employee greeted me and I left very happy. Great service and delicious pie! Thanks Perkins!
