Santino's Italian Ristorante

Some of the best lasagna ive ever had and it was for my fiancée lol. Great place and its convenient for us truckers sense its next to pilot. Want a big fan of what I ordered the bracciole just cause I WASNT familiar with what I ordered. At any rate, the restaurant was nice, the people were nice and the lasagna and salad and cheesecake was to die for. Yall can find them on truckerpath too!? Good meal. Very good red sauce.Of all things, my husband and I both mentioned later that we wished they would have served bread. Also for the prices, cracked pepper and fresh parmesan (instead of old pre-grated) would have been nice touches to elevate the experience.

We took a large group of kiddos here for Homecoming and the staff and food were fantastic! I cannot say enough how patient and kind they all were. Pizza was fantastic and we'll likely order that again. Thanks again for making this group of kiddos nights! They were all saying it was the most fun they've ever had at a dinner!

We found this restaurant about a month ago and have eaten here 3 times already. Awesome food and great service. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I stopped in here for lunch last week. They just opened back up for lunch hours! I didn’t want anything big, so I ordered the meatballs. Was pleasantly surprised to find that they were HOMEMADE! They were so flavorful & juicy, not dried out. Also found out that the owner was the one serving the entire dining room - & she was also the one to roll those meatballs! I can imagine dinner here would be so worth it! Eat local, folks! ?

Awesome true authentic Italian recipes! Must try the Brashiole and the Bruschetta.

Excellent Italian that doesn’t require a trip to the south side. It’s one of our regular rotation now; everything we’ve had there has been excellent.

Ordered chicken parmesan and the chicken was so tough I couldn't cut it. They made me another one and it was slightly better since I could cut it but still overcooked and overall just not great. They also didn't offer to discount my bill for the trouble. Many better Italian restaurants in the metro with more reasonable prices. I won't be back.

Tonite was my first visit to Santino's and I am so happy we went. The interior is warm and inviting. I really appreciated there was plenty of room between tables so seating was comfortable and conversation relaxing. Our server was top notch....very friendly and attentive but not hovering. We had the spaghetti and meatballs which included a good salad and bread. Food was very good and portions generous. Good menu variety for those who may not want pasta. I am anxious to go back and taste other menu items.

Just had the most delicious dinner at Santino’s. The ambiance was wonderful, the service was excellent and the food was outstanding. Looking forward to visiting again.

It’s not often that I come home and write a review right away, but tonight is an exception because we had an exceptional dining experience. My husband saw Santino’s advertised on Facebook, and since we’re fans of Italian food we decided to give it a try and meet our grandson there for dinner. We were promptly seated in what is a very beautifully laid out restaurant that made us forget that we were in a strip mall in Urbandale, Iowa. Once inside those doors it has the feeling of a nice, downtown restaurant. It’s spacious, elegant, very clean, and nicely decorated. Our server, LaRisa, stopped by our table right away to let us know that they were shot staffed and asked us to be patient. No patience was needed, as she had everything under control. She brought us water immediately, and our drinks soon after. Not sure how she did it, but we wouldn’t have even realized that she was the only server working tonight if we hadn’t seen it ourselves. Our food was fantastic, everyone working there seemed to be enjoying themselves and Mike, the owner, stopped by our table to visit and share some stories. In spite of being completely stuffed we ended up taking some heavenly chocolate cake home with us. Thank you, LaRisa, Mike and all the staff at Santino’s! We’ll be seeing you again soon!

This was our first trip to Santino's and we were anxious to see what they offered in Italian dishes. Our waitress asked for our drink order and I requested a Long Island Ice Tea. I was then informed the bartender wasn't able to work but they would try to make one. It took about 20 minutes while the waitress conferred with another employee. What they finally brought was a tart, sweet, vile glass with way too much ice and little to drink, which I didn't want to drink anyway. I'll end here because it doesn't get better.
