Wow—Viking Ice Cream completely blew me away! Every time I’ve gone, the staff (all super young!) get my order spot-on and somehow make it look effortless. What’s shocking is how much fun they’re clearly having—smiling, laughing, hustling—and the energy of the place is contagious. The flavors are endless, and I’ve made butter pecan my go-to when I’m here visiting from New York with family and friends. The outdoor tables are perfect for enjoying it, but let me warn...
Wonderful place. Get the small size of whatever you get...it will be enough. They pile up the ice cream here. If you get a tornado, it will be loaded up with cookies or candies or whatever you add to it. You will be full.
This place exceeds all expectations! The portions are beyond generous, the variety of flavors and options are fantastic and the people and service is wonderful. The only thing you might wish for is that they stayed open later. But, if you make it in time, you will not be disappointed. Go take a drive to Ventura for a nice view of the lake and an outstanding experience at the Viking.
